National brand guru Simon Middleton will join a line-up of corporate communications and social media experts for the region’s first ever major conference on how to manage and build brand reputation, which takes place on Thursday 30th June (9am – 1.30pm) in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite at Ipswich Town Football Club. ‘Managing Your Brand Reputation’ is organised by one of East Anglia’s top PR agencies, Suffolk based Genesis PR, which recently rebranded from Project PR. It is aimed at business managers and executives who want to gain a better understanding of what makes a strong and positive brand and how to build and manage reputation to drive business growth.

Chaired by BBC Look East presenter and journalist Alex Dunlop, the event will cover techniques for public relations, corporate responsibility and media relations and how to use social media to capitalise on today’s 24/7 online media explosion.

Keynote speaker, Norfolk based Simon Middleton, is a regular commentator on brand issues with many appearances on national media including BBC Breakfast and Newsnight. In 2010 he was expert brand advisor on Duncan Bannatyne’s TV series ‘Seaside Rescue’ when the programme looked at rebranding Felixstowe.

The line-up also includes two of Suffolk’s top corporate affairs chiefs: Emma Hibbert of Adnams plc and Paul Davey of Hutchison Ports (UK) whilst Cambridge based Luke Brynley-Jones, who has worked with brands including British Airways and Essex County Council, will give insights into using social media.
